Carving a pumpkin can be a daunting task. It takes forever, makes a mess, and never comes out just right. This October, we are taking a new approach to pumpkin decor with the Pumpkin Flower Vase. The only carving required is the hole at the top!

Gather Your Materials: Choosing from an autumnal color palette, choose seasonal flowers. Leaves, twigs and berries from the yard will also add an extra touch. Try to gather flowers with different colors and textures to give the display some dimension.

Prepping the Pumpkin: Cut the top off of the pumpkin and hollow out the inside. Once the inside is cleaned out, soak a piece of florist foam in water. Cut the foam to fit inside the pumpkin and keep it watered. Once the pumpkin has been carved, it should last about a week!

Floral Arrangements: Divide the flowers into groups by color. Grouping like flowers together will make for a pleasant design. Make sure the flowers are cut enough to see over if you are using this decor as a table centerpiece!
